We are a group of passionate neuroscience students whose goal is to share inspiring research and help our peers discover future careers in neuroscience, medicine, research, and more. To do this, we established a journal club specifically for undergraduate students, giving them experience with this form of academic communication and a place to learn about what's beyond the classroom.

The UNJC began as a small group of students attending the University of Rochester who aimed to get their peers excited about the latest research findings in neuroscience.
The group as a whole, as well as our U of R members are led and managed by Ethan Lee and Tori Gu.
Our first external chapter was founded as we reached out to students at Emory University, later headed up by the president of the ENSA (Emory Neuroscience Student Association), Kate Richardson.
Our second chapter was founded by Symonne Liu, who gathered students attending the University of Chicago, across several majors who are interested in the research presented at the UNJC.
Now, Ben Monahan and Max Ruskowski have taken over the operations of this chapter.
Our third chapter, founded by Sarina Liang, brought together a talented group of students involved in neuroscience research, marking our first chapter expansion outside the United States.
